David F. Scott, M.D.
Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Scott completed his undergraduate work at Cornell University in the College of Arts and Sciences receiving a BA in Biology. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA and then completed an internship at New York City, New York University Medical Center followed by a residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York. Dr. Scott also completed two fellowships, one in Bioengineering in New York University's Hospital for Joint Diseases and the other in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Utah where he currently serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the School of Medicine.
Dr. Scott is board certified in orthopaedic surgery, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an elected member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons He specializes in arthritis surgery including primary and revision total hip and knee surgery and is a pioneer in minimally invasive and computer assisted hip and knee surgery. Dr. Scott is also involved in the research and design of innovative hip and knee implants.
